The Blue Portals are a saga of brilliant maps. Reepblue takes the player on a new experience, a voyage where our previous experience of Portal is turned on its head. By featuring new environments and gameplay aspects everyone will find something they love in this series, although it is imperative the whole series is played; the shallow but progressive difficulty curve will otherwise become a wall.

Special Feature

The Blue Portals was the first map we were asked to review after launching the site. We’ve done the best job we can with it, with five different chambers melded into one video.

Thanks for the review. It also was perfect timing because today is also my birthday! :)

In Chamber 3 where “The hint to look up” problem is something I just notice recently as a few people were like “What do I do now” I’ll fix that, easy.

In Chamber 4 were you “cheated” will be patch in the mod version. Have fun with it now. ;)

    Chamber 5 (The main focus)

The Orange cube in the first room should been enough to explain what it does. As for getting the cube stuck, I’m thinking adding repel magnets to push it off till you get the normal cube.

The stairs being a problem is a result of me experimenting with them since I never made those types of stairs before.

The button being “locked” was activated by a look trigger that if you looked at the water for x amount of time, the button would light up. But the trigger_look was not behaving and did I could not set it to a shorter time.

Final fling chamber will be fix’d with a different ceiling texture or new glass.

I thank you for reviewing it and giving it more a positive rating. I’ll take this review into consideration when I’m touching the maps up for the mod version. (Will not be for a while.)

Thank you very much. It was great fun to play, with only a few select issues, which are easy to overlook :)

Despite the few bugs, these are my favorite custom Portal maps to date.
